Tutufy was born out of a simple but persistent problem, sending items across borders is often expensive, slow, and unreliable.

From personal experiences growing up in immigrant communities in Minnesota where sending items home depended on who was traveling and when, to trying to ship electronics from the U.S. to Nigeria, Our founder David Gbieor and Co-founder Mojisola Aramide saw the same challenge repeated again and again. People either waited weeks to find someone traveling or paid high fees through traditional couriers.

At the same time, thousands of travelers move across countries every day with unused luggage space.

Tutufy bridges that gap by connecting people who need to send items with verified travelers already heading in that direction. By turning everyday travel into an opportunity, the platform offers a faster, more affordable, and more flexible alternative to traditional shipping.
